Customers

Princeton Blue supports clients in a number of key industry verticals – Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Consumer & Industrial Manufacturing. We are proud of our 100% customer satisfaction rating across our entire customer base. The following represents some of our customer success stories:

Solution: BPM Industry: Financial Services – Capital Markets

The customer, a subsidiary of a large bank marshals its forces in the service of securities clearing, execution, and settlement services to financial institutions and brokerages worldwide. The company deals in domestic and international equities, fixed-income products, and foreign exchange.

The International Clearance and Settlement group currently receives an average of approximately 8,000 trades per day. Of these, a high number of them result in unmatched or unsettled trades for a variety of reasons, including issues with security set-up, missing/incorrect settlement instructions, etc. Due to the highly manual process used to resolve unsettled and unmatched trades, a significant number of the unmatched and unsettled trades in some markets may not settle on contractual settlement date.

With a BPM based solution, unmatched items are prioritized based on a set of ranking rules and then routed to associates based on their market skills as setup in the system. Associates pick items from their work queues in order of priority. As they view the details of an open item, additional reference data is provided to them via a callout to a set of distributed services, thus providing the associates with all the information they need to intelligently resolve these unmatched trades.

Solution: BPM Industry: Financial Services – Capital Markets

The Client Acquisition process represents the first interaction between this buy-side organization and the client. In order to make a lasting first impression on its customers, the client used a BPM solution to ensure that this process gets executed with the right sequence of events, follows all the required regulatory requirements and completes within the timeframe committed to the customer.

Solution: Integration/SOA – Mergers & Acquisitions Industry: Financial Services – Banking

Princeton Blue has helped major banks in North America improve and upgrade existing business functions with services oriented architecture without any major disruption to the day to day business. In addition, to process and technology improvements, the framework used by Princeton Blue has allowed a major bank to perform one of the largest merger and acquisitions by loosely coupling the services to the systems they support. By using an SOA approach, the banking processes (tellers, call centers, retail, small-business and internet banking) are seamlessly integrated across multiple channels and allow the banking processed to be improved without impacting day-to-day operations.

Solution: BPM Industry: Financial Services – Capital Markets

Princeton Blue helped the client’s trading desk by creating a process based solution to address the legal and compliance requirements related to trading activity. As an example, employees’ personal activity has to observe the restrictions around the trading of positions within the company’s fund.

Solution: BPM and Integration Industry: Life Sciences – Medical Devices

Princeton Blue provided business process visibility across the client’s order to cash (OTC) business processes that span three separate legal entities within the client’s group of companies. A BPM based solution was used to provide the badly needed process visibility and monitoring across the OTC business processes. Initially, the immediate need was to monitor the business processes proactively and address breakdowns and slowdowns in the processes as they occur. Eventually, this platform will be used to further optimize and improve the tasks within the underlying business processes. Princeton Blue also helped deliver the integrations between the SAP common front-end and the eight internal operating lines of businesses, supporting multiple real-time and file-based integrations and conversions with their respective back-end JDE systems.

Solution: Integration – B2B Industry: Life Sciences – Pharmaceutical R&D

Princeton Blue introduced a real-time message bus to integrate client’s clinical operations with their EDC and IVRS partners using CDISC ODM and SDTM in an effort to reduce the time to collect clinical trial data into a CTMS system for trial management and decision making from 4-6 weeks to near real-time.

Solution: Integration – Platform Upgrade Industry: High Tech – Components Distributor

Princeton Blue upgraded the client’s EAI and B2B integration platform from an older version to a current version without any interruptions to their normal business operations. This will keep the client on a supported release of the integration platform for the next couple of years.

Solution: Integration – Mergers & Acquisitions Industry: Life Sciences – Consumer Goods

Princeton Blue led this M&A driven initiative from an architecture, project management and overall delivery perspective. Multiple order-to-cash business processes and the applications that support them had to be integrated to ensure that they operated seamlessly. The nine month project was delivered on time (within an FDA imposed regulatory deadline) and without any post go-live issues while under strict the watch of FDA validation team.

Princeton Blue also helped integrate the processes that maintained the Product Information Management (PIM) data into a single combined process. Additional complexity was introduced as a result of the merger of Transora and UCCNet into 1Sync. Previously, acquiring company sent PIM data to Transora, while acquired company sent PIM data to UCCNet. Now, the new company sends PIM data to 1Sync. This helped rationalize the B2B integration of the trading partners of the combined company by asking all vendors to move from VAN to AS2, thus saving on unnecessary VAN costs.

Solution: Integration – B2B and Platform Upgrade Industry: High Tech – Consumer & Industrial Mfg

Princeton Blue enabled trading partner integration within the client’s supply chain, allowing them to send and receive various EDI transactions in real-time directly in and out of their back-end SAP system. Princeton Blue is also upgrading their integration infrastructure to the latest supported version of the platform.

Solution: Integration – EAI and Platform Upgrade Industry: State Government

Princeton Blue assisted in the implementation of an enterprise solution that allows various agencies within the State’s criminal justice network to seamlessly exchange information in real-time. Princeton Blue also assisted in the upgrade of their integration infrastructure to the latest supported version of the platform.

Solution: CAF – Portal Industry: Healthcare – Non-Profit

Client was evaluating a Composite Application Framework (CAF) based product vs. straight HTML in order to build their internal and external portal. Princeton Blue demonstrated the pros and cons of using a CAF based solution by building a pilot solution to help the client make the most informed decision.
